Bfg tires letters turn brown

I run mine black walls out, so the letters can turn any color they like. :)
 
I remember my dad telling me years ago that my grandpa told him about this same problem when he was a kid.

There are threads on here about this topic too.....

Even back in the old days they sold this stuff that whitened the raised letters and the white walls. I think they also used to use Brillo pads to clean the white walls.

Comet and a brush is what I used . nice and white letters and clean black side walls.
I haven't had letters showing since the early 80's, Daytona 60's as I recall
 
My 255 60 15 are doing the same thing. BFG KNOWS THERE IS A ISSUE. I was told to take them to a dealer for adjustment.

It surely has! They will change them out too. I've had several friends who have had problems and they got theirs changed out locally.
 
I usually take my Cragars off trice a year and give the tires (BFG TAs) a good scrubbing with Comet, and then I wax the wheels.
