Brand new lifter damaged

-
Looks like a little too much travel on the machine putting them together!

Exactly why I get the heavy duty hydraulic lifters that use the snap ring instead.

did you buy them direct?
if not, get a hold of the vendor and have them sort it out, that's what their markup is for

I tried to contact them but I cant get the line... Im very disappointed.

You can't get customer support on the 800 line?

Why would you go to Comp when you bought from Summit? Summit has awesome customer service. You wouldda had a new set by now.

Don't talk to comp. Talk to summit. I had an out of round wheel from them. They had a new one on its way the same day.

Comp would tell you to call the distributor anyway, that would be summit. Summit would just RTV them anyways. (Return To vendor) In a pinch, you could probably use your old lifter clips but you would expect good new. I thought Crower sold the Circlips by themselves.

dang, I was right! I had a similar issue when I cleaned some ticking lifters check valves and 3 of clips flew into Never-Never land. Someone here mailed me about 8 for free.

I would ask for the HP lifters with the heavy duty snap ring and pay the difference. Problem solved.
