    Put me down for one.

I'd be seriously interested in working on importing one, if I was comfortable with the process. I started working on it about 10 years ago, but got hung up on finding a Portugese interpreter.

I've dealt with Dick at firm feel and he is a top shelf guy! Interesting choice on the lca stiffening plates,I have those too. Firm feel also has something called a sector support kit, which modifies and stiffens the area around the pitman arm. This is another big area of flex in a mopars steering.

I should be getting this kit soon and will do a seperate post for it. But I'll share a link with you.

    Hello Needsaresto.

Thanks for your tip. I visit FFI site frequently and never saw this sector support kit. They are on the site?

    Thanks man.

    It is available!

    http://www.firmfeel.com/sectorkit_a.htm

Even though I intend to drag race my Dart on the weekends,it would be foolish to ignore the handling. I live in a VERY mountainous region with many twists, turns and steep hills. I came to the conclusion that my car would be much more enjoyable and safer if it handles well. I lightened my front end up with fibreglass nose and thus the stock 318 Tbar willbe good enough when combined with a sway bar and adjustable gas drag shocks.

Plus the lca plates and sector kit should help keep everything straight if I launch hard at the dragstrip and pull the front tires off the ground. Not that the launch will bend stuff,it's the landing that might do that, lol!

Im going much the same route as you and am seeking to improve my stock suspension, not spend insane amounts on aftermarket suspension.

Have you considered welding the K frame fully? This greatly strengthens it and stiffens the entire front ned.

Im even buying Moog whenever I can,as it has always been a better brand imho.

Yes, I think about what to do with the K-Frame. But for my use, I think it´s to much, but I would like to know is the process and what and how to weld then. Depends on the money when I put the suspension down, I´ll maybe do that.

    Thanks for the tips.

There are lots of photo's at firmfeel of welded K frames they do for customers.

If you can weld and have access to a welder thats most of the battle already won.

It's pretty simple really. You just increase the amount of spot welds holding the k rame halves together and solidly weld up any seams etc. There are pics of the steering box area and how they reinforce it as well.
