Lets start a messed up parts with pictures thread.Here is mine.Its 1971 and we are running 36 degrees advance.In a 426 wedge.So being young and stupid we figure 38 would be better.Mix in a little detonation and this is what you get.Ruined block,crank one head and cam.13 to 1 piston.I kept for memento.Lets see yours,Kevin.

on the lines of those indy rocker arms,was at monster mopar and brought him my box of broken push tubes and indy rockers,his came back was im floating the valve and my springs are weak,didnt really argue,might be true,as they been on the car 5 years
 
While not racing related, here's why the rear on my son's newly purchased '68 Dart was making noise... welded spider gears in the Sure Grip. Seller said it just needed clutches....caveat emptor. Its his favorrite paper weight now.

150 shot of nitrous on a cast piston 318. car went almost 117 mph. on that pass. Dove the car home (60 miles) used 1.5 quarts of oil. lol

That head gasket looks like CRAP....the lower side is cut at a funny angle, all the fire rings are distorted (but that might be from whatever happened during your mishap).....Am I close?

edit: I just noticed the the "funny angle" is probably from the header in the pic :-P
