Im wanting to put bucket seats in my 72 Dodge dart and im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what seats would fit properly height wise and width. Any help is appreciated.
I was happy with them, Procar was the brand. I used their brackets too.@318willrun put some aftermarket buckets in his ride. He has a video about it.
Now that's funny.E body bucket seats are the same as A body. You'll just need to get A body tracks if you get a set.
Modern seats in classic cars will never look anything other than out of place to me. I know a lot of guys like them but it's like putting mom jeans on a hot chick.
Tim, do you have a link to the seats you used?I was happy with them, Procar was the brand. I used their brackets too.
All I have is this video... probably list it all in itTim, do you have a link to the seats you used?

SummitThanks, I watched the video but didn’t see where you bought them.
I’ve got Pro 90’s in my car and like you hated the white tags - 2 careful minutes with a scalpel had them removed!Don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but if you put in buckets when you had only the bench before, you'll probably want to reinforce the floor where the seats bolt down towards the center by the trans tunnel. The outer holes were already reinforced. There are subtle dimples where the other holes would be for the stock buckets. At least, there was for my '73. I just went through this last year. Here's the procar classic series 1500 with the procar brackets I picked up from summit. They're.... ok. Other than I hate the big white tag stitched into them, they feel a little narrow even though in the center they're actually pretty close. I have a center console I have yet to install and I think it'll be a tight fight. In hindsight, I think I should've spent a little extra and opted for more of a ralley seat. Something with more in the bolsters. I like my cars to hug me with love and unicorn kisses. As far as fitment goes, I think they work out ok.

Just give the white tag the sharpie treatment!Don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but if you put in buckets when you had only the bench before, you'll probably want to reinforce the floor where the seats bolt down towards the center by the trans tunnel. A friend in HS had a new 383 4spd 'Cuda. Worst seats ever!E body bucket seats are the same as A body. You'll just need to get A body tracks if you get a set.

E body seats are the most uncomfortable & least supportive of all seats. They are way too flat with no bolsters on seat cushion or seat back & therefore provide Zero side support in turns. You might as well put in a Bench Seat as they have the same support. NONE! If you want road race handling, forget them.
I have 86 BMW 318 Sport Seats in my 65 Barracuda, mounted to original adjuster tracks, & mounted same height in car as original buckets(not much bolsters to 65 seats, either).
