Im wanting to put bucket seats in my 72 Dodge dart and im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what seats would fit properly height wise and width. Any help is appreciated.

Are you looking for O.E ? aftermarket ? or maybe something from wrecking yards ?
Corbeau Seats fit and look great. Many different styles I put them in a 71 Duster.
Summit Racing has lots of photos.
I also have used Dodge Omni seats and Toyota Camry
Photo is the Corbeau My 2 cents

E body bucket seats are the same as A body. You'll just need to get A body tracks if you get a set.

Modern seats in classic cars will never look anything other than out of place to me. I know a lot of guys like them but it's like putting mom jeans on a hot chick.

Now that's funny.

Don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but if you put in buckets when you had only the bench before, you'll probably want to reinforce the floor where the seats bolt down towards the center by the trans tunnel. The outer holes were already reinforced. There are subtle dimples where the other holes would be for the stock buckets. At least, there was for my '73. I just went through this last year. Here's the procar classic series 1500 with the procar brackets I picked up from summit. They're.... ok. Other than I hate the big white tag stitched into them, they feel a little narrow even though in the center they're actually pretty close. I have a center console I have yet to install and I think it'll be a tight fight. In hindsight, I think I should've spent a little extra and opted for more of a ralley seat. Something with more in the bolsters. I like my cars to hug me with love and unicorn kisses. As far as fitment goes, I think they work out ok.

You have to ask yourself what you want. Do you want a modern power seat that reclines? There are LOTS of medium size cars with power bucket seats that will fit. Some people will poo poo that idea, but a nice looking bucket that isn't too big or too small can look really nice. I have considered it myself for my 69 Barracuda. Do you want the correct, stock Mopar Buckets? Decide what you want and then look.

I’ve got Pro 90’s in my car and like you hated the white tags - 2 careful minutes with a scalpel had them removed!

Just give the white tag the sharpie treatment!

I put a pair of buckets from an early 2000s Dakota club cab in my 75 Dart Sport. Fit wasn't too bad and as a bonus they not only recline, but the passenger seat moves really far forward to allow very easy access to the back.

Im looking to do the same in my 2 trucks... starting with Ramcharger seat bases in both.... and Ramcharger consoles too... have a set of nice original RC seats for one but looking for something alternate for the other one. (mainly due to color choice vs what I have here)

You might want to look at a 72 Dart OEM bucket seat they are the sexiest bucket seat Mopar ever invented they are Deluxe bucket seats for dusters and darts...I got a flawless set of black ones with tracks...but bit take a small fortune to obtain...I also have 71 seats...just as sexy

A friend in HS had a new 383 4spd 'Cuda. Worst seats ever!
E body seats are the most uncomfortable & least supportive of all seats. They are way too flat with no bolsters on seat cushion or seat back & therefore provide Zero side support in turns. You might as well put in a Bench Seat as they have the same support. NONE! If you want road race handling, forget them.
I have 86 BMW 318 Sport Seats in my 65 Barracuda, mounted to original adjuster tracks, & mounted same height in car as original buckets(not much bolsters to 65 seats, either).

Pictures of the mounts on the seats?

Sorry. I took a pic. & don't know how to post it.
Original seat mounts unbolt from seat, and are slotted with arcs for a little adjustment. Then I used some 2"x2"'x .148 thick(approx 9/64") angle iron to make an adapter part. Maybe a little thin(at 1/8+1/64) but I'll gusset the bolt hole areas & they'll be fine.

Realized I said that I'd used original seat adjuster tracks & I was wrong. I used original mounts that have seat height arc adjusters, that move base up and back & adapted them to the the BMW tracks with angle iron.

Seating position seemed high, but ok while driving. If needed I can turn them upsidedown & flip side to side and lower it some. Or section the original riser if needed.

All I have is this video... probably list it all in it

Great video I ordered the same for my Barracuda 1968 and I think they sent me the bench seat brackets. you don't by any chance remember the part number of the seat brackets. thanks Phil
