I bought a kit that included this http://www.detailing.com/store/meguiars-dual-action-polisher-g110v2.html. It came with 3 pads. Compound, polish, wax, quick detail and microfiber towels. Man did it bring the paint on my mustang up nice. Don't think ill ever hand wax again

It should last some time for you. I had one for 3 years before it dies using it for 2 cars a day.
