Hi , I always presoaked my lifters and haven't had a problem yet...things change though and maybe there is a good reason to not presoak them. Could you tell me your reason for not doing it??mikedevore said:do not presoak the lifters!

Just use break in lube on the bottom and coat the outside with motor oil. They will pump up much faster than they will bleed down.
