Can I get away with using a single spring kit with this cam?

Lunati of course suggest there springs, but them the heads have to be cut to use them. Can I get away with a single spring, can someone suggest one?

Call up Lunati and ask them. They will be able to recomend the correct spring for your aplication.

Yes, they recommend there double springs. I was hoping to get away with a single spring so I wouldn't have to modify the heads.

I am selling these for cheap. They are considered a single spring, but have an internal spring that they call a damper. You could look at the specs or call comp and find out if they will work. I will say no. There are single springs availible with similiar specs but they may be using duals to reduce some kind of harmonic.

You can try a similiar single spring, but you may just have to pull the heads off again and do it right the second time.

Yea, I called the shop that has my engine. They said that they have a beehive "type" spring they'd like to "try". The problem is if it don't work, as said above... It will have to be taken back apart, and guess who has to pay! I guess, I'd be paying for the machine work anyway.
