IM REDOING MY OIL - I WORK IN AN OIL COMPANY SO I GET ALL KINDS OF THINGS DIRT CHEAP SO IM LOOKING TO SEE IF I CAN USE A 15W40 ON MY CAR SINCE I CAN GET IT FOR THE SAME PRICE I WOULD A GENERIC STORE BRAND 5W20 OR WHAT HAVE YOU.

MAYBE A SPIRAX 15W40 OR SOMETHING WOULD IT BE OKAY FOR ME TO USE A 15W40?
MY 440 IS A DAILY DRIVER AND WENT THROUGH MY LAST OIL CHANGE PRETTY QUICK. I THINK I USED 10W30

ANYTHING I SHOULD LOOK OUT FOR?

WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT US? Its the internet....no need to yell lol. Is this a bone stock motor? Do you have an oil presser gauge?

sorry, lol i'm at work we use an 1998 old circa dos system requires us to be in CAPS at all times.

this is a bone stock 1973 440 magnum off of a dodge charger oil preasure gauge =yes
last i checked i think i was at 80-90 (i thkn)

I personally wouldn't have any heart burn about running 15-40. I have a feeling most would suggest 20-50 for older higher mileage motors. One thing to keep in mind is you're going to want an oil with zinc in it for your flat-tappet cam.
