Well I finally got the 68 Shasta camper done. Put it on fee-bay late one night. Next morning, heat coffee, turn on computer, GONE! Sold on a buy it now bid in less than 7 hours!!
Wish I had another one to start. OH! I do. I got another some gal in Cali owns, I'm storing and rehab then she is picking it up in Sept.
But I need to get ABB's Wagon done real quick first.
So....with it gone, Clay's Clara here and ABB CJ Wagon half done, it's starting to look more normal round here with cars finally out numbering campers.

Ok now we add a little T5 Cashmere Irid.
This is 1st coat of T5 before it is to be wet sanded. It will be wet sanded by 9Am and shot with 2nd coat by 11AM. That's when it gets too hot to spray paint. It will dry instantly and turn to orange peel big time!

I think I went overboard on adding the gold micro sequins to the T5 though. It kinda looks like Bill Dance or Hank parker would be sitting in it fishing! LOL
2nd coat should bring a more "burnt" look to the T5 Sienna/Cashmere and drop it a couple shades darker. Too many sparkels?...I might not add any gold flakes this time to bury the ones on there already and give them an orange tint. Well maybe add just a couple more..LOL

Lex was still wearing his outfit today from my birthday party! If ya look real close, I think I still see some pink finger nail polish on the paw on right in pic. His Mom paints his white nails sometimes.:D

A POUND of orange flake??!!
I'm working out of a 1.5 oz jar and have been sense 1978!! Still have 2/3 of a jar left. LOL when the guy sold it to me all those years ago, I said $50.00 bucks for that?? He said it was more than enough to last the rest of my life. So far he was right!
A pound??? Are they micro flakes or the ones the size on bass boats?
If they will go through my gun, I could use an oz or 2 for when I do the rest of the custom work on the roof and hood.

LOL really don't have em any more. The amount of celebration for my birthday was done right here on this thread a few posts above! LOL
FOr my birthday this year I got to paint ABB's wagon. Somehow doesn't seem fair does it? LOL:D
The sparkle and bright orange went away as soon as I wet sanded. But then came back with a vengence. Not as bright orange now after the 2nd coat. Also the sparkels aren't as in your face now.
