There's a car show in St.peters Mo that's called the Lot, anyway they used to have shows from April through October on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 5:00 pm -10:00pm. Now it's in May, July, September and it's only from 6:00-9:00 pm. Has anyone else seen car shows dropping off? The one here where I live stopped because of no judges and attendance dropped off.

The hobby is slowly decaying....mostly to people aging. Nobody can/wants to do the work. Lawn-chair racing isn't as much fun as cruising used to be.
Old-car people, are a niche in today's cellphone society. Each generation, is more droid-like.

Sad, but true. Kids don't even go outside and ride bikes.

I'm super thankful, to have grown-up in the absolute best time to be an American. It's still okay...but not wonderous.
We had freedoms, not the illusion of freedom. Technology and globalism, are the bane of mankind.

Go buy a car and take it to a show. Tilt the curve Dan.

Not so much in my area classic car shows are still very popular. More shows with more cars in attendance. Some have gotten so big they have outgrown there venues.

We have more car shows, cruises, and cruise in's than a guy can go to in a week. Something going every day it seems and multiples on the weekends.

We have multiple Car and Coffee's each weekend day. Always multiple shows each morning within 40 mile radius of my house with 100-300 cars. Then regular car shows. Facebook group for my county posts 15-20 car total events a weekend

that's the problem with all you old fogies! you don't get our young hip references from... *checks notes*... 1999

The closest car show to me is about 25 miles, not bad. There used to meet at Burger King but they haven't done that in years, I was told because the club that met there fell apart due to low membership that's one of the cons of living in a small town.

Even the classic car dealer in the north end of St.charles stopped having car shows and they had a great turn out. As far as I know there's only a few places in St.Charles that still have them. I did see that there's supposedly a car show here in town at the Elks lodge first one that they have had in a few years and I'm going to it. There's a big show at the lake of the Ozarks every May but I'm not driving 2 and half hours.

If people don't buy cars and bring them to the show, then the shows go away.. and , this be true for dog shows too. Nobody owns a dog, no dog show.....
