My carb is still being rich...68 jets in front 72 in back 4.5 pv with 8-9psi of vac... I was told the throttle plate might be warped... I can buy a used 770 cfm street avenger should I get it? or what carb would be better for my 360 with 10.7 compression .524 lift and magnum heads. with a 4.10 gear

dont get caught up in fancy names of carbs. 750 dbl. pumper , with the milled choke housing, IF YOU WANT REAL STREET PERFORMANCE!!!

Well, lets make sure the throttle plate, AKA throttle body/base plate is straight or not and go from there.
What is the cams duration, Centerline?

Distribitor timing has an effect.

its a XE274 110 centerline and Im thinking im just going to go with a Bigs Carb

What is your idel set at.Anything higher than 1000 rpm and it will run rich. What happens is the transfer slot gets exsposed causing the bosters to give fuel when it should not at idel.Happens on holleys. If you have a big cam and stock stall convertor to get it to idel you have to turn the idel screw up past what your idel should be at causing that problim.has happened tp me many times.the fix 3000 stall
