Thanks for the info and photo. THere you have it. I will correct my post above.

You bet Mike. Also, I have reason to believe the head gasket on the passenger side is blown, so at some point I'm going in to replace. I have no reason to believe that my engine is relatively untouched and in original condition aside from what I done, new carb. So those head gaskets should be factory. I think there is a thread about wanting to get a hold of factory hipo 273 head gaskets somewhere.

And here is another photo of the 67 covers with the 2 wire spark plug wire holder and the pcv grommet. It has the wide heat protector as well. Something I just noticed is the raised area around the stovepipe and grommet areas on the 67's that the earlier covers don't have.

67s have the rubber grommet on pass side with the "cupped" harness holder. Ds has stove pipe.
