What are y'all having for Christmas dinner?

We are having:
Ham
potato salad
broccoli rice casserole
squash casserole
deviled eggs
stuffing
sweet potato casserole
green bean casserole
biscuits
sweet potato pie
pecan pie
pumpkin pie
german chocolate cake
2 gallons of sweet tea.

Pretty close to our menu but we will do a turkey instead of ham. Turkey is a twice a year special meal at our house keeping it very special.

We do our hams at Easter. Oh so good as well!

Back to Plan A and eat at Mom's....

Going to my nephew's home for Christmas dinner. He's making his very first beef standing rib roast. He asked me how to do it - they're so easy and so good.
Also gave him a couple of recipes for different sauces to use for it. Here they are if anyone is interested:

Sour Cream Horseradish Sauce
* 1/4 to 1/2 cup prepared horseradish (according to your taste)
* 1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
* 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
* 1 teaspoon salt

In a medium-sized bowl, combine horseradish, sour cream, lemon juice, and salt; thoroughly mix.
Note: Can be made 2 days in advance. Cover and refrigerate.

To serve, pass the horseradish sauce on the side
Makes approximately 2 1/2 cups.

Garlic Blue Cheese Sauce
* 3/4 cup heavy cream
* 1 medium garlic clove, thinly sliced
* 6 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
* Freshly ground black pepper

In a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat, bring cream and garlic just to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until the cream coats the back of a spoon, approximately 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Stir in the crumbled blue cheese. Season to taste with the pepper.
Note: Can be made 2 days in advance. Cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving.

To serve, pass the Garlic Blue Cheese Sauce on the side
Makes approximately 2 cups.
