clutch torque shaft frame bracket

I have a 1973 duster 340 converting from auto to 4 speed . not sure where to weld clutch torque shaft frame bracket. can anyone advise or do I need to mock it up with block and bell housing to find proper location

Isn't there an alignment dimple or something of that sort? I know the E bodies have a tab it fits in to locate it.
 
Put a 1/2 inch bolt and nut through the existing hole (that has a plug in it), align it, and weld it.
