I just finished installing my automatic trans, after removing my 4 speed to have some fun at the track for a while, and being a non-console car, I was trying to come up with a way not to hack up my brand new carpet and put any more holes in my floor boards for my B&M pro stick, so here's what I came up with after a little fabricating out in the shop yesterday, and a coat of black wrinkle paint. What do you guys think?

looks great man. you did a nice clean job. most folks that dont know these cars would think that was a stock auto car. you should be proud of your work and ingenuity.
 
Looks good. I have the opposite problem, I have a console auto car, and don't have the guts to torch the console mounts out.
