Convertible boot

I'm turning a model into a convertible. What is the best way to create a boot for the top? Thanks in advance!

Year One has them, but getting a boot is is probably the easiest part of this conversion. Do you have a donor car?

Vinyl pool liner may be thin enough. Go to a fabric store and see what they might have.

I think a single piece of vinyl would look too add on. I would have to atleast attempt to whittle from a donor piece of plastic. Right now I'm looking at several possible donors on this Toshiba laptop.

way back when, when tooth paste tubes were aluminum or tin I used that. Maybe some heavy foil.
