Just picked up a convertible top boot for my 68 Dart vert.
The car didn't come with one and it looks like the inner portion has to slide inside the rear seat top channel.

What's the best way to mount that as the new boot will need the buttons installed one at a time which means taking that on & off numerous times.

Looking for someone that has done one for any installation tips

I did one a while back. I think I used wd40 but soap may work better. PIA! Maybe someone knows a better way. As for snaps, set it up (if possible) to go on easy as they tend to shrink.

You mean the snaps not buttons. You have to do one on each side then the one in the center of the rear then in the center between them and leep going to the center of the last installed. This keeps the belly between the snaps down. They make a hand tool to install the snaps. Yes it will contract but leaving it to relaxed may cause it to get bellies in it . I helped the person install mine when I did my 62 and it was not that hard.

If you can find a Pres-n-snap tool , you can leave it on the seat and mark them and install one at a time . spendy but worth it , it does not damage the head like the hammer method

Wow!!! That is a stunning looking car. One car where the convertible version improves the aesthetics.
