Does anyone have experience with the wiring for a cruise control unit? I was looking under my dash and on the stop light switch there are 2 more wires. After chasing one of them down, I found it goes to the cruise unit. Wanting to remove it cause it wasn't working right the last time I drove it. Any issues buy removing it?

No drivability issues disconnecting the cruise control plugs on the brake light switch if your never going to use the cruise control.

HOWEVER

Keep in mind to NEVER use the cruise control with those wires disconnected as that switch turns off the cruise control when you touch the brake. So if your cruise control is engaged and you've disconnected the wiring to the brake switch the cruise control will NOT disengage automatically.

Thanks Kernel. The only thing that is still attached is the wires. I have already disconnected the throttle cable and vacuum line to the unit.
