two simple plumbing questions | For A Bodies Only Mopar Forum
i guess its been a while, and i decided to just start tossing parts at it
so, i stopped in at the local hardware store to buy a new diverter (id seem em online for about 25 bucks, but i wanted to get one locally in case i need to return it since i dont know the number)
well, couldnt find nuttin, so i asked one of the guys who works there
he said they dont carry any moen parts since they have a lifetime warranty and simply send the new parts out when someone calls em
that cant be right, but i figured id call anyway
so i call em, and they tell me, the wait is going to be between 160 and 180 minutes...would i like to hold or get a call back?
yeah, ill take the call back
sure enough, about 3 hours later i get a call back from them
they want to know what the issue is, and if im the origenal owner
well, no i aint, the faucet came with the house when i bought it
the girl said that since im not the origenal owner, they cant warranty it, but as a courtesy they could wave the cost (60 bucks) if i just pay 8 dollars shipping and they will send me a new diverter and sprayer nozzle
so far, im pretty impressed
