In the heavy, much heavier van .... with much less converter.... ok !I’ll take the 5.9 magnum all day long and twice on Sunday.

question: Would you expect an RV440 in a D150 with somewhat of a "stall" (2800 ?) and headers to beat a stock 5.9 magnum (4bbl/headers) in a full size '89 van with bed, table, and chairs, and a towing torque converter??? I promise you the van is WAY heavier.
The van will run 15.4's-15.5's in the 1/4, and 9.9's in the 1/8.

Maybe this will be the first test. Race it against the van ..... (I did put the eddy carb on the van since it's went down the track). Not sure if that changed any of the performance. In the heavy, much heavier van .... with much less converter.... ok !![]()
Just gave up 2 tenths right there.I did put the eddy carb on the van

Probably. I did it because I didn't want the new 650 brawler DP on the van. I put a 650 AVS 2 on it. On my Duster, they ran the same. So I don't know. I generally don't think of my van as racing, though I've raced it LOLJust gave up 2 tenths right there.
