D64 / A dual quad Edelbrock (and other intakes)

-
Bores are rough and barbaric with a mic reading that floats between 1.67 - 1.69. First post was correct.

How much plenum?

The shallow side runs from 1.89 at the front to 2.30 at the rear.
The deeper plenum side runs @ 3.30 front to 3.69 at the rear.

The port window size reported earlier is correct. Mic says, 2.00 high X 1.04 wide. A basic 2X1 window.

Some guys will think a lot about things and wonder ..... how long the runners are. Well, I guess you might want to know. Some short, some long. They worked out like this;

A took my buddy "Mic", slid him up a runner and looked into the throttle bore to see him come out from the runner. I tried to even his tip out to be even with the shortest part of the bore. The shot below is just to show. And then I took the stick out to lay on top of the runner.

The measured runner goes to the smaller plenum side. the lengths are about 4.14/4.04 for runners 3 & 5.
3.87/3.83 for runners 4 & 6

The runners2 & 8, 1 & 7 are a bit harder to measure since they run low and curve around to the other side of the intake. A tape measure was used from the inside of the throttle bore to the top of the runner. The tape measure was held level. This is just to show horizontal travel.

With the tape measure pulled level and looking downwards, I got 5-3/4 inch's in horizontal travel.
Pulling the tape measure downwards from the pad to the runners top area of the port window got me 4.40 to the car pad on the other side . Which is short the width of the throttle bores and minor space in between them.
Check picture 3. You can add approx. 2-1/4 inch's to this measurement for a good approx. length. The 2-1/4 number is from picture #4.

A total of 6.65 in length.

Duster360 said he would get to measuring his D-66 to see and check for differences in the intakes. Considering it is built for a 340/360, correct???? or is it a one size fits all later year small block dual quad Edelbrock made? I do not know. But we'll see soon enough I hope.

Nice Dodge freak, nice. I want to get a set of 500's myself. A bit outta budget for now.

I will be posting the info here in the next day or two. I will do my best to take the same measurements and pictures that rumblefish did.

No the D-66 just had the bolt holes drilled at the correct angle, they have small 273 / 318 ports. Its the same intake

Offy made some big port dual quads but single plane with a divider

I took the front car secondary air door off, and lighten the rear carb door with the short ports air flow speed increases - means no bog with 3.91's and 3,000 stall
