I just purchased this 72 Duster with a/c and push button controll. It blows on the for but not up to the windshield. The compressor comes on but no air through the a/c box. Anyone know the problem.

Thanks

There is a lot of vacuum lines under the dash and vacuum pods that move the dampers. You are going to need to get under the dash and follow each line to make sure they are hooked up. Also check for dry rotted lines.

Also if you dont have a factory service manual you should look at downloading one or buying them off of the net. They are a life saver. Free download of service manuals found here... http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=244981

It blows on the for ...
floor?
Anyway, many possible issues. Perhaps the fabric defroster air tubes are degraded. Those attach to holes on the left side of the heater/AC box in my cars and route air upward to the defrost vents. Remove them at the bottom and see if air blows out the holes when it should.

Or see if they are even there, lol.

Those push button controllers are common failures. In fact Ford put a similar controller in a 90 Tempo. Those were crap too.
Good news is the vacuum portion of your climate controller is reproduced.
