Yea there are a lot of hippie dippy folk out here who think running their 1983 Mercedes 300d on French fry oil is cool. The only thing good about them is the smell. And I ain’t talking about the patchouli.

Oil is free but you need to clean it an pre heat it

I think he should have left the front frame rails with suspension in it. With no engine in the way, maybe a rear steer rack and pinion could be mounted. At least then he could have mounted some decent wheels on it.

Yeah, that's the one. I remember that article and thought it would be a great sleeper swap.
That version of the Falcon was just a shortened Torino. I'll bet the only fabrication would be to shorten the drive shaft.

Well, since you could get stuck behind a 300D for a long time if you're on an on-ramp, you've got to give them credit for improving the exhaust smell. Every bit helps, right?
