Im looking to put a disk conversioin on a 70Dart anyone have a good company to use and does it cut weight off the front end and if so how much for a street driven car Cheers

are you looking to use a stock 73-up style disc brake set up?? if so they are probably heavier then the drums.. if you go with something like a wilwood set up they may save some weight....

give bill at reilly motorsports a call.. he can help you out either way you decide to go....

Your big decision will be weather you want to upgrade to the bigger Bolt pattern. If you go to 4.5 the only lighter disc kit will be the Wilwood as abodyjoe recommended. The Wilwood kit has an aluminums hub and is about 30% lighter than 10" drums. This is what I'm running on my 65 Cuda. If you stay with the 4" BP, you don't have many kits to choose from. On the Demon I went with SSBC brake kit as it has both the 4 and the 4.5 BP on them.
