Hey Guys,
Brand new to all of this. Im unsure as to what donor year/vehicle fronts work, as well as what 8.75 rear is a bolt in replacement:???: Tried searching forums and cant find the exact info I need. Thanks for your help, btw I plan to keep the /6 for now if that matters.

65-72 Kelsey Hayes 4 piston discs are a direct bolt-in; 73-76 A Body single piston discs are a bolt in as long as the matching upper control arms are used. 65-72 A Body 8.75s is a direct bolt in. Welcome to FABO.

Welcome to fabo, your new home away from home!

Dartman is right, the K-H are a direct bolt in as well as the rear end choice! Your car is currently equipped with a 4" bolt pattern for the wheels, so unless you plan on changing the axles in the 8 3/4" with aftermarket units with the larger 4.5" bolt pattern, the 73-76 single piston disc brake setup would leave you with large bolt circle up front, and small bolt circle in the rear! Your choice, and you have choices, just keep this in mind as you would then need 2 spare tires! Good luck with your new gem, and share some pics when you can please!! Geof

Ooops, I should have clarified that on using the 73-76 Disc set-up. Thanks for keeping me straight Geof. If you did go the 73-76 route, you could use a 73-76 8.25 and be LBP all the way around without having to resort to custom or shortened/resplined axles for the 8.75. Just another choice.

I have a set of 66 Mustang 5 lug spindles and drums I didnt use on a previous project, and I know Ford and Mopar share the same bolt pattern, but will they work? Like I said, Im seriously just learning as I go, so please forgive any "dumb" questions, such as "what makes them "kelsey hayes" brakes? Thanks for the quick and helpful responses!
Brandon
