Thanks for the posts. I don’t get irate about it. I just cringe when I hear it.
You know it must have irked someone since the old intakes, vavle covers had "Say Why-And" cast into them....and a wee-and intake.
Isn't that what Al Bundy called his car?"dodge duster"
I've owned about 300 mopars over 50+ years....and still refer to it as a posi unit. I say it more around the OEM people.I just know right away they are not a Mopar person
When you hear somebody call a sure grip a posi?

Those are some cool vintage parts
"Posi"s...?
Maybe I'll mutter something under my breath about putting a Chevy rear under a Mopar... but if they brought beer I let it pass. If they didn't, I tell them to not come back until they do- 'cause I can't listen to that **** when I'm sober.
If it's in a post and I start seeing posi, axels, breaks; or some run-on non-punctuated gibberish that makes no sense I pass on by, because if they can't invest the time or effort to compose a coherent message, they sure as heck won't invest the time and effort to accurately perform any kind of in depth automotive work.
oh my.........you went and said it.......thank you.....but most are not going to be repaird of the motor branding......In the most unbelievable way.
Also when anyone refers to a internal combustion Engine as a motor. Motors are electric. Or a mode of transportation.
Guilty on this!!!In the most unbelievable way.
