I have watched a couple of your videos probably through links on here. I don't think I have subscribed though that I know of. I'm not on YouTube that much.
I noticed a lot of your videos that I have watched our basically for beginners...
not bragging or anything but just saying that I'm past a lot of that stuff like how to put on a set of traction bars or something... I've changed two to four barrel intakes on mopar's, Fords, and Chevy's so no sense watching that video.... I'm glad you're having a blast though...
 
If you got anything for notching a 51 Chevy for airbags to drop it to the floor I could use some help...

I only make videos on things that interest me and what I'm doing at the moment with my projects - if I'm in the mood to make a video :D It's all for my pleasure
 

We're going to try to get together this coming weekend and maybe finish up on the 5.9. We haven't touched it in over a month. If we get if finished, perhaps the following weekend we can do the swap. Hard to get together with our schedules, and we both have things going on during the weekend that we can't always get together. Really like to get that in the truck soon.
 
I think the next thing I should do is change the transmission, I want to get rid of the lock up/truck converter. I have a "free" 727 that isn't a "lock up" and a brand new converter that's supposed to be like a car converter and I gave 50 bucks for it. I was going to install it with the 5.9, but I think I'll put it behind the 318 just for a comparison.

Don't forget the shift kit..

As easy and cheap as they are I can't imagine not having one and any automatic that I had especially in the older stuff..

You can find them cheap, used, if you are patient. I love them, even my wife has one.

I will have a 3 day weekend for the 4th..... I might take a few hours and do the tranny w/converter swap. Going to be a scorcher this weekend, though....

I was supposed to have a (don't kill me) 400 sbc circle track motor done for a race on the 4th, but the guy came by and dropped off a different set of pistons/ rods earlier, they are way lighter, now I have to take the bottom end apart and re-balance the crank.

I told my parents I would do some yard work for them tomorrow, Brian and I are trying to get his new motor done.... And, Old Yeller keeps staring at me everytime I walk outside. Its a wonderful hobby I chose!

I doubt I will have that sbc done in time unless I work some late nights, and you are right it is supposed to get hot!!
 
Alright guys, I'm turning the Drag Truck over to my son for a spell. He is going to move forward with this, virtually claiming the truck and using his money. I'll give all the advice and help he'll need, but he'll be at the helm.

This is why I have so much into the Duster...
I use to have way to many toys.. I found myself running from one to the next trying to find enough time to play with them.. kind of took the fun out.. I do miss the yz250...:(...

Well, I sold the Harley, 3 wheeler, 4 wheeler, but always looking at cars which can lead to buying cars (my wife knows this too), and in the mean time working on the yard for the garage, working on the Duster, short cruises in the '77 RC and feeling the eager to cruise the 318 Duster (or maybe drop a 440 in it :D), all while in the mean time I'm working on another youtube video :) :)

What ya both need is a big boat with a big V8 or two. lol
