Hi everybody I am new to the A-Body game and I was wandering what year fenders would fit my newly aquired 72 Duster. I have always been a C-Body guy so I don't know much about these cars yet.

72 through 76 Duster/ Valiant will work with no mods to lights etc. 67 Valiant will fit also but you will have to cut the holes for the marker lights. If you can weld and dont mind a bit of a challenge 68/68 Valiant will work but the marker lights are different. In addition 70/71 Duster/Valiant will also work but again, the marker lights are different and will need to be welded up and new holes cut. In short any 67 to 76 Valiant/Duster fender will work. Just the first ones listed will work as in bolt on with no mods.
Chas.

Thanks now I know what to look for. A Local salvage yard has at least 25 A-Bodies for me to pick from.

I've got some nice rust free 73 Duster fenders. 70 ea / 120/pair + shipping

As mentioned, Duster fenders work pretty much across the board with some minor variations. Headlight bucket area is another of the quirks from year to year.

Hey Crackedback, I heard about headlight bucket differences but never had one differ from the other. I had a 69 Valiant100 and swapped on a 76 Duster fender and put the grille and bezels on and everything lined up right. Someone told me about some difference but I have never seen it. It must be only on them 'west coast cars' lol,
Chas.

there is a filler panel on 70-72's which is NOT present on 73+. You'll need 72 fenders to work perfectly with NO mods.
