ebay member not registered after purchase

so i bought a stereo off of ebay for my daily driver because i wanted to upgrad to a double din android based one. before i got it i went through the reviews and the seller had good reviews and the only bad ones were the same girl 3 times buying some jewelry from china and complaining that it was fake , but that didnt really discourage me from buying it. but late night after i got it i got an email from ebay saying
"We're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you recently won:

and when i went to the sellers page and it said that the sellers no longer registered and he wasn't a brand new member that had been selling for over a year.now has anyone else had this happen? i would rather end up getting the item than my money back because the price of these now are more expensive.

I would simply follow what Ebay said for you to do. Pretty simple. I have not had that happen, but I have been in the situation where I was looking at a seller's item and went back and they were no longer a registered user.

lol yea im hoping im able to get it they dropped they price so they sold like 150+ in one day but id figure if they were scamming someone would say it in their reviews.

Something similar happened to me, two weeks ago on ebay.

I won the auction on some parts, and was notified thru ebay, and the seller, that the item shipped, and was given the tracking number.

Then a day later i got notification, the same that you got, about if i didn't pay for the item, don't, and if the item is on the way, wait and see if it arrives.

Come to find out my sellers ebay account, got hacked, and they shut it down until he and ebay, got it all sorted out.

In my case i got my part ok, so it went well for me.

that good to know i was looking at the ebay and paypal policies and ebay guarantees an item until 30 days after the last expected delivery day and paypal protects until 45 days from the purchase. i didnt get a shipped notification yet or else id be a little less worried. so i think for a bit im gonna wait and see what happens.

ok so heres a update. today was the first estimated delivery date and it didnt get delivered(no suprise there) but the members still unregistered and i havent heard from him or ebay.
