Quick stupid question again guys but I got my parts from The Paddock today. I recieved the retainer nuts for the SWINGER emblem for the front fender. Question is do I just slip the nuts onto the emblem poles and then push the emblem into the fender or is it more complicated than that?

TIA, Joe

if their like mine you carefully tighten the nuts till theyre snug, dont push or force anything. the nuts thread up the studs and you dont want to wallow them out.

I'm confused as to "nuts" = hex nuts or those shield like anchors that pinch the emblems' studs .Discription sounds more the latter. If so those type anchors go in the sheet metal first then the emblem goes through. Wont get it back off, EVER ! so even if.... the hex nuts are a better choise providing you can access the inside of where it mounts.

Yea I was afraid of saying nuts, acutally they are lil sleeve like dealy bobbies kinda like those plastic wall hanger things that you pound into sheet rock, put in a screw and when ya tighten it flanges or swells making an anchor. They are not nuts where I have to remove the fender itself to get inside. Sorry I should have been better with my description.

So insert into the pre-drilled holes first. Then push the "Swinger" emblem into the holes/metal sleeves. They are 1/8" lil tiny sleeves if that helps Redfish.

Thanks guys.

I'm sure theres probably a thread on this subject. I wish there were a search fundtion so I wouldn't feel terrible about asking a question thats probably already been answered a few 100 times :)

There is a search function. Top of the page, bottom row, 3rd from the left. But, I can tell you from experience that even when you know there is a thread covering what you are looking for, it can be hard to find sometimes.
