Engine, motor, mill, plant, power plant, may be used to describe what powers any Mopar on the planet. Slug, boat anchor, oversized paper weight, rice rocket, may be used to describe anything else.
I went to a local parts store to ask about urethane motor mounts. The guy stopped picking his nose for a second, looked up at me and said, " It's a engine, not a motor, what is ya, igniant ?" I guess I am.

As Elwood says:

"It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?"

Would it really be as good with "Engine"? ;)

I put motor oil in my engine....

I am a high school auto shop teacher so I agree with your teacher. Kinda hard to enforce when all you hear on NASCAR is "Motor"
Motors are powered by electricity engines are powered by fuel. But if you are an import owner I guess you can use motor.

It is an engine just like it is CONCRETE NOT CEMENT !! Cement is part of the concrete product.
