Ever seen a RHD A-body?

I came across a pic of a car I nearly bought in 1990. It's a right-hand-drive '69 Barracuda. It had a 318 auto, ps, pdb, and heater. It also had an 8-3/4" rear. I found this car way back then in a Euro Auto Trader. Back tnen, it was in the South of England, near Portsmouth. I'm curious if the car still exists. The partial VIN is BH29F9B. I have the full VIN, though.

Any ideas on where it's at in 2025?

I've seen a few. The steering sure is weird. It isn't like the left hand drive cars.

RHD A bodies are all across the globe... Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, and many other countries all had them. Don't believe Aus/NZ ever got the Barracuda, though.
Might even have been available in the US as a special order, since many vehicles were available that way for rural mail carriers and such. Don't know for sure on that, though.

I've almost bought two RHD Austrailain cars here in the US-

A '68 wayfarer wagon and a 72 Valiant hardtop.
68 was 225 slant, three on the tree.

The 72 was factory silver with a orange interior.
245 Hemi six, auto on the column.

One of the two Mopar Nats I attended, there was a 70 Satellite RHD. The odd thing was, it had been painted nearly the same color as my own 70 former 440-6 RR. Friend of mine with me, we had come up behind it and looking from the rear. I told him, "take a good look" and he could not see it.

That's John Papas Daytona. He lives in the Detroit area and is a hoot to be around. The Daytona was in a Mopar magazine years ago. He also owns a Superbird painted like a Sox & Martin car.

The VE Valiant wagon was an Australian body with a more-or-less '68 Dart front end. The South African Valiant wagons of that timeframe were the Australian body with US Dart or Valiant front ends, depending on year — lookit the pics here.

Look at the steep angle of the steering column.

For years, I drove a 76 Camaro with a tilt column. It was a comfortable car to drive. I bought my Charger in 2000. The steering column and wheel seemed to be at a steeper angle. Later I figured out why. The Chevy had the steering box and linkage forward of the front wheels so the steering shaft was at a flatter angle. The Mopars are behind the centerline so the angle is more upright. The RH drive cars have the steering box even further rearward with the idler and pitman arms pointed forward. This makes the steering column stand up even straighter, almost like a school bus or something.
