Everybody ready for the yearly list of News Years Lies,er... Resolutions? I'll go first:

I resolve to get the engine back in my car and enjoy it for more than 50 miles before the next meltdown :eye:

I resolve to apply a fresh coat of primer to the `Cuda so it doesn't look like, well... a piece of ****, like it does now

I resolve to purchase a set of 18" rims & tires plus a cat-back exhaust for my Wife's GTI so she has a cool car too 8)
BTW: *Helpful Tip* Doing something as giving as this can often provide a gracious gesture in return, like when you lunch your engine after 50 miles and you need rebuild money :D

I resolve to find different material for all of my smart-assed posts. Hopefully we'll have none of those old "My engine is driving me crazy..." posts. With any luck I'll move on to the " My body shop is driving me crazy..." posts which would indicate a sort of progress....

I resolve to stop using e-Bay like a crack addict uses a lighter. Sometimes no, it doesn't make me feel better "Getting a deal on-line" when purchasing used speed parts. The torture I went through over a "cheap" scattershield ended up costing as much as a new `shield.

I resolve to stop storing car parts IN the house. Particularly in the living room. Right next to where the Wife can almost break a toe on a driveshaft safety loop, which is kinda ironic in itself

I also resolve to get out to my neighboring states and visit with my fellow list members at various tracks and/or shows next season. I would like to put a face and voice to people I chat with all the time. I'll be the guy in the Turquoise`68 Formula S. Or maybe it'll be gray primer.... that is if it runs, and I'm not a passenger in a really cool looking pearl Blue GTI

Happy Holidays!

To have my Duster a rolling chassis by spring and have the body work done and in primer! :?

Hey John i keep some of my car parts in the house as well, actually in a spare room with my model cars.
The problem is i keep buying parts i'm gonna need and now i'm running out of room to keep them.
The super-stock springs are in my bedroom leaning against the wall (NO,i'm not married or i would probably be getting beat with the springs!)

 If you were married with those parts in the bedroom
you wouldn't get beat with them,
you would get nothin, I mean NOTHIN

My list changes more then my underwear.

I need to Mini tubb the car.

Add disk brakes.

Redo the front suspension (I actually have the parts for this)

gears

swap in a built low geared 904.

Beat the crap off it and actually take it to the track this year.

New Years Resolutions: Run in the 9'ss this year, & to be in the finals , other than in the Gamblers Race!!

My New Years resolutions....lose some weight, pay off some of the bills I've accrued over the last year of not working, and get my Duster and Dart over here from Hawaii.

To have all the cars listed in my sig in one place at the same time.

TA and RR are in South Dakota in a wharehouse

69 Charger is in Oklahoma in a Garage

65 Barracuda is in my grandmas driveway in California.

The only thing i got here is my Dakota.

Dude, I'm on board with THAT one! I had posted I drove my car 50 miles. I think it may have been closer to only about 20-30 miles before my engine ate itself alive.... :pale:

my problem is ithat the guy who had it before me made som many mods to set it up for raceing that the alt took a dump on me. But the good news is that i found a guy here in MO who said hell sell me a 75-6 360 for $50 also a 8 3/4 rear. so well se how that goes. Just need to get the damn thing here first.

My resolution for this year is to finish all the little projects around my house, Sell it, Buy a smaller house & build a workshop so I can get some serious work done on my car. My resolution for 2006 will be to finish the car So I can drive it!

I have my rear window stored in our master bedroom closet.... And my wife doesn't mind! :D
