exhaust drone in cab

Is there any way of reducing the amount of muffler or exhaust drone from the cab of a car? Would a better rubber insulator do the trick? All there is at the moment is a piece of semi-hard rubber between the pipe and body. I wonder if a longer piece of softer rubber would help?

So you feel you are dealing with body vibration then, instead of just normal exhaust/muffler drone?
There are all kinds of different hangar types to choose from, but my all time favorite is the rubber donut style as they seem to give the best insulation from vibrations.

If its exhaust drone you need a different muffler and/or resonator. If it exhaust rattle then something needs addressed like a pipe it touching somewhere.

If its drone at certain rpm, like mine had at 2500-3000, which is just in highway cruise rpm, i would suggest building 1/4 wave exhaust resonators.
those removed annoing drone from my duster. its cheap and lightweight solution.
