I am fitting a mild 10 to1 440, 484 cam, ported iron heads into my RHD 67 Barracuda.
I have a set of custom headers that I had made for an indy headed 440 in another car that will need a little dimple here and there to work with my stock headed 440. They are 2 inch primaries into 3.5 inch collectors and nice 3.5 exhaust.I'd have to use my engine plate with these pipes.
My only other option off the shelf is a set of try y headers in 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 2.5 inch collectors at about 1k uncoated they are pricey plus I'd need to get an exhaust done to go with them.
My question is will those 2 inch pipes cause me to end up with a pig of a car with no bottom end keeping in mind this car will be mostly street?
