I tried to buy one of those out of Georgia twice.

First time, the owner died in the middle of negotiations!

Documented here, on FABO!

Link won't open correctly for me- I don't have an FB account.

Where is it, how much, and what engine?

They were also available in Africa, too.

Looks like a dart with a tube grill kinda cool
Remember the old Putco, etc tube grills of the 80s?

here's the direct link:

(spoiler: it's on the side of the world, where the toilets flush funny)

I tried to buy it too, wonder what ever happened to it? I had to buy a 70 VG ute instead. Been looking for a VE Safari like this one for decades. I do have a grille and headlight bezels from one though... 1968 Chrysler VE

Yeah well considering they they are said to be upside down, it's a supernatural that they flush at all.

that's cool, but the curtains give it super hearse vibes.

i'm down on the long roofs and all, and the weird stuff; but sorry, not sorry, it looks too much like a chevelle or nova wagon.
It is a hearse

It wasn't one of the Bayer brothers, was it?

I believe so.

Red/maroon and white

225, 3 speed.

Corresponded with their sister afterwards.

Apparently there were legal issues.

Never resolved at least to/with me.

Car surfaced years later for triple the price on a iffy site.

OP listing is in QSLD...

... Australia!

I've been jinxed trying to land one of those- had an acquaintance on the Gold Coast who was acting as an intermediary as I was trying to get a similar VE Safari roller; sadly, he passed on before the deal was finalized (Sound familiar, YY1?). I tried to finish the deal and set up shipping through an agent, but then Covid hit and both countries locked down. Guess it just wasn't meant to be- I still look, but I just don't have the connections anymore.

I saw this one a car show in Canton, Georgia in 2015. Pretty sure it was a Bayer brother and pretty sure it had a for sale sign on it.
