I'm looking at starting on a 3.79 stroke build with trickflow 190 heads based around a 5.9 magnum block 500hp +.

Wanting to hear from people running the factory type hydraulic roller lifters.. what rpm are they reliable to?

Legit Question: What are the rates on those valve springs?
OP asks a really good question, in for the responses.

These are the specs of the available spring options.

Are they RPM limited? I would think the limiting factor would be spring pressure and having a max lift low enough to ensure the oil band is still covered. I've seen some pretty stout combos on this site using stock roller lifters.

I’ve been running Morel factory style roller lifters in my 408 for five years now with no problems. It’sa street driven car but sees the north side of 6 grand almost every time out. I think proper springs would be the limiting factor.

ok redirect// needing the same info//
what spring pressures do I need using factory roller lifters to see a SAFE 6500rpm ?
