Father's day starting out bad

Me and my 13 yr old son got up at 6am drove 50 miles to belen nm, for the moparfest(today is the 18th!) Got there and the place was locked up tighter than a drum. Asked around and everyone kept saying "boy, there were alot of cars there yesterday..... Yep, one day too late. My boy was bumbed out too. I guess it wasn't a total loss, time with my son and he got his first ride over 100mph......put a big grin on his face. Of course we were using the latest safety devices (lap belts)
