OH MY GOD, I thought id never see the day when football didnt have Favre. It is a sad day. He was one of the most enjoyable QB's to watch if you were a Packer fan or not.

Well, it was only a matter of time since we saw him in his cameo in the movie "Something About Mary." I think he has found his true calling. ;-) Seriously, like other great QBs, his prescense will be missed. He was a class act.

I was rootin' for the Pack to make the Super Bowl. Figured that would make the old guy finally hang 'em up. Can't stand either of the Mannings, so didn't want them to win. Or Brady.

Well, looks like he's goin' home. He can take his place in the Hall, right below Joe Montana:cheers:.

If nothing else, he was fun to watch. Not many would play the fake as well as Bret.

Go Niners

He was good, the grestest not even close...Montana holds that honor for now, until Brady retires of coarse...

He was a great player, thats for darn sure but he should have hung it up a year or two ago! Football is not a easy game, sure he wants to keep playing but his body is not young anymore. You can get hit only so much and 38 is "old" for sports-maybe golf 38 is young but not football.

Hes lucky he did not get hurt very bad last season, smart move Favre.

He will be back, let's see if the packers would have signed Randy Moss on Monday like Farve was asking for he would of not retired?

I recall a classic shoot-out a couple years back between Farve and Manning in the RCA dome in Indy! Also the Colts during thier terrible years in the mid 90's (Pre Manning) beat Farve's Packers during the regular season before the packers won the super bowl.

Farve will be missed by all NFL fans! However I believe they might have a good young QB who has been waiting for his moment!

Go Colts!

Something made up his mind. He still could have maybe pull off another year-but recall his last game, it was like zero degress outside and snowing but he was off. He knew it. But I am sure there was other reasons for him retiring not just his age.

My God , is it on here too. I can't get away from this crap.Well it's about time. The only sad part is seeing the last of the QBs from my youth(Montana, Marino, Elway,Cunningham, Kelley, Aikman, Young, Rypien) leaving makes me feel old.

Say hello to the Aarron Rodgers era Packers fans.

It's only fitting that the INT king's last pass looked like this.

I remember just like it was yesterday, we were building our house in 1992. One of my builders said, "Holmgren sure likes that kid. You can just tell it." Good Luck Brett!

No tougher guy EVER played QB in the NFL and no one EVER had more fun than Brett. The rest was just icing on the cake.

Nice Duster...sorry about the back drop...maybe you could crop the picture?

As a bears fan...I have no appreciation for Fav-re. It's kinda sad...cause everyone says he's a HOF for sure...i don't see it...but again I'm a bears fan...I don't see it and never could...
The only thing I could like about him is he had a little Jimmy Mac in him and like to have fun. Our last good QB.

Again Nice Duster....

Hey 70coyoteduster, how many times have you walked outside your house and stumble over some drunk, passed out fans in your yard? You certainly have a cool view of the stadium.
