feedback on driving visibility with XL scoop on 68 fastback

I have a AAR Stinger bolt on hood and the XL scoop . this measures 5.5" high at opening.
I have sat scoop on hood for time being to get used to its look . I need height clearance for my 1050 and spacer on 440. How obstructive do you find it is to drive with this scoop?
I have had a tall but different scoop on my race only car , but this car will see street driving as well.

From inside car looking out i am unsure at this stage . Best i ask before i go drilling holes.

Hi Bakerlite, when i last spoke to person who will be issuing me with Blue slip (6 months ago) he said it was o.k .
Vehicle is on Historic plates , it would need to go on Classic. I would be definitely double checking before i drill holes in hood.
