Figured id share my garbage..

I’ll tell the whole story later, or @TT5.9mag can because he has a gift with words that I do not have.

No burnout naked road and leaving off idle. Let the smoke out if it but boy was it fast before I did that.

The story is all yours to tell. But I’ll hint at one thing. How bout 979 lb/ft of torque at the wheel!! That number shocked me. And I couldnt be happier with the AFR curve. It was like a table top. It’s probably the nicest fuel curve on any carb I’ve ever tuned. We definitely got the tune up in check and the car responded really well. How bout a pic of a plug from near 1000hp and well over 1000lb/ft at the crank?

No we did no diagnosis. Just put it on the trailer. Plugs looked great all day. No signs of distress in the chamber at all.

None yet. I’m sure I’ll get out there at some point this evening and pop the plugs out of it and find the culprit. Fired up great off the trailer minimal smoke. As the temp came up the smoke increased.

I don’t even know where to start with the day. Kinda one of those “you had to be there” especially after it made 37.6whp per pound of boost.

My buddy had very similar thing happen. It was an oil line to turbo. The turbo oil drain line got cooked from excessive heat. It cracked and oil got everywhere. In your case, could it be consuming the oil through the turbo? Could run NA to narrow it down?

Loading it on the trailer still hot one hole sounded like it was being cranked without a spark plug in it. Only smokes when the temp comes up. I won’t rule out anything but I don’t suspect the turbo

Idleing it is basically NA. And it still choo choo trains out of the breather when it’s hot. It’s not oil smoke it’s pushing combustion gas past the rings somewhere. Turbo life. It happens.

Combustion in the crankcase is either valves or piston.

Good luck guys. I am curious and will be watching for what you find.

Always run the best right before...
It’s wired really. We kept turning it up and it kept responding well. Checked the tune up after every pull. Got up to 17-19psi and ended there. Then turned it DOWN to 14psi and Chris took it for a spin. Came back chooochin. I dont get it.

I think it just had enough fun for the day is all. It didn’t REALLY get bad till that little rolling burnout after the pull on the street. The smart *** stuff is what always gets me

Even on the rolling burnout all of us looked at each and thought damn that thing rolled out HARD even spinning the tire.
