Finally getting a chance to work on My Junk.
Pulled the radiator out, tranny bolts are loose. Just need to get the torque converter bolts out.
Do you know how hard it is to loosen them, when there's no heads on the engine for a little resistance? Time to get me one of them there holdy thingeys for the flex plate.
Any ways, the engine should be out as soon as I get those bolts loose.
I did semi clean the garage up, and took the 400 off the engine stand, so I have a place to work on the 340.

It's been a long time coming!
No Kidding Tony,
I think I only had the car out two times last year, to the tune of some disapponting runs.
If nothing else, I'll get it all torn down and see exactly what I need to make it right.
I know the tranny needs to be rebuilt.
The heads need to be redone, and the cylinders rehoned. Need to fix or replace the intake manifold. We'll see what else once I get the short block apart.
Also thinking of sneaking a bigger cam in there, but we'll see. I can always do that later.
