Fire wall stripping

When I looked at the paint over layers of chipped paint jobs I wondered why would anyone ever do such a hack job. Then I spend all day sitting on the K frame and my question was answered. Who ever did the hack job has stripped a fire wall in the past. It will be the last one I do.

How did you strip it? It looks awesome now.....

Air craft paint stripper, wire brush, scrubbie pads (purple) and alot of cussing.
