Long time coming here.
Finally got its first run today. Fine tuning and adjustments on Wednesday. It did better than I thought with the Stealth heads.
400/499 Victor intake, Ported source heads, Ferrera valves, Mancini rockers, Smith Bros 3/8 push rods, endurex roller lifters, Bullet solid roller, Mahle pistons, Eagle 4.150 crank, and Eagle H beam 6.76 rods.
11:1 Compression on 91 pump premium.

That's with an 850 carb and to be honest I haven't seen the card but here's what I know
264/271@50
626int/626exh
105°lsa
That was really the very first run no real tuning there probably a few more in it yet I would guess. No work on the intake either there's probably some left in it as well.

Is the LSA 105, or is 105 ICL ?? That some very good numbers !!

It's a 1976 400 block with a half fill I had two blocks this one was much thicker everything was right around .200
Dont see too many engine people stroking 400 Mopars, interesting.

The 400 is choices around here and everyone is looking for the “right” 400 block. IMO, the B 383/400 is a excellent block to stroke.
I thought the same thing. Isn’t the 400 the go to foundation for all the 451 builds?

Yep! With a 4.25 stroke and .010 over, it’s a 502.

And 383 -> 496 (4.250" stroke/6.535" rod)
or
383 -> 426 at the stock bore,
438 (4.31 bore, 3.75" stroke/6.760" rod)

So those short deck blocks are worth a little something after all. LOL!
