Do you have that set up from CCP? If you do what brand of fuel pump did it come with? They have a 10% off now on all their stuff.

Yes thats what I have. Don't think I noticed what brand, already installed so can't ck. I ck'd pressure and it is what is advertised at engine compartment. No leaks after install, only ran the one hose for supply to efi. still haven't purchased efi but am leaning toward holley sniper. probably won't buy until ready to run engine which I have yet to install.

I too, run the fuel command center. Have had no problems with it. Need room for it and it needs to stay cool if possible. I believe most of the problems people have had is heat associated and some have modified them to allow a fuel return to the tank to keep fuel cool. My battery is in the trunk so this opened up the perfect spot for it. Fitech now has a new version of the FCC, I understand.

I put a Tanks Inc tank and pump in the 68 Barracuda when I went with FI. Nice stuff, I would not do it any other way. If your existing gas tank is in nice condition, sell it after the swap. One thing that I did was cut in an access hole to the fuel pump. If I did need to service the pump, can do without dropping the tank. I am in the process of setting the car to run on E85, made changing in the larger capacity pump easy.

They don't filter much. Look at the size of the holes in the foam. I had one for a while, and found visible sand inside the carb.

Aeromotive makes one. I'm not sure on part number, but my dad has one in his fuel cell. I'm sure summit has a listing.

Will disintegrate w/ age , and put the small foam particles in ur engine , probly wont really hurt the engine , but kinda nasty , and filtering ability gets worse and worse.

I guess we are OT from original post a bit here.

I hear ya. The foam seems reasonably dense but I have no micron rating for it. There is possibly bypass happening around the filter too. For degradation, I will keep an eye on it. Will change it out in time if I can find a suitable quality low profile one. Only have around 2" and then I get into clearance issues.
