I just put a new Holley 650 on the fresh 360. Took off the original single plane Mopar intake and put an Edelbrock rpm air gap on. Set the carb yesterday and seems like the throttle and kickdown don't set the same as the 750. I took pictures but I'm not much of a photographer. Anybody have a setup like this with pictures I could copy off of? The original had some home made hooks and stuff and I'd like to get it right the first time, Holley isn't much help with their inst4ructional videos etc.
Thanks in advance.
Jim

This is the original equipment that I pulled off. Looks like my kickdown linkage is different and you can see that he made a home made throttle cable connection. I really don't want to change the throttle cable at this point. Maybe in the future. Any ideas on what may be proper?

Thank.
Jim

Hey Tony.
Looks like my kickdown linkage is different than yours. Also, I can't really tell where your throttle cable is hooked to. Is there a difference between a two barrell and a four barrell kickdown?????
Thanks.

The 24 inch Lokar cable is what fits A bodys. I bought the kit from Summit that had the cable, bracket and return springs for $69.95 and now my gas pedal works like butter!!

Lokar Duo-Pak

I replaced the kick down with a Lokar cable also, but that's for a whole different thread.

Yes there is,and you have a 2 bbl upper kickdown rod,and a 2bbl throttle bracket. This is the factory 4bbl setup on an Ede carb. Works the same way on a Holley.Notice the different bends in the upper KD rod and throttle bracket. So if you want to do it with factory linkage, you will need the correct 4 bbl parts. I have the 4 bbl upper kickdown rod for sale, then all you would need is the 4bbl throttle bracket. PM me if interested.
