I got the 2' Lokar cable which was a bit too long so I had to cut the braided housing and cable.
I taped the housing and cut it nice and clean with a whizz wheel, no frays whatsoever.

In the last pic you can se that I buzzed the opening at the gas pedal a bit bigger to make room for the large bulk head connector from the cable and I left some wiggle room in case I needed to fine tune adjustments.

It works like a champ.

Yeah I figured I'd post pics in case anyone was wondering what the summit bracket looked like.

I
ts pretty sweet and has the adjustable slides, but the cable is adjustable so I did not have to mess with the slide adjustments.

You might want to slide the spring side a tad, just to tighten up your return? The choice is yours. Here,s mine..

It don't look like it but the spring tension is pretty tight and i can really feel it in the gas pedal.
I don't like the way the tension spring bracket mounts to the carb linkage, well I do like how it mounts but it has some slop in it and kinda binds up.
I need to add some washers.

Does yours pivot in the hole where it mounts to the linkage or does it clamp down tight and not move??

Dang Spaz thats same as mine.

Cool, Let's see some pics.

I need to get the custom wires like on pettyblues car because I don't like the top mount ones I got as they don't fit snug and I ordered the vehicle specific ones, should have got the make your own with 90 degree ends at the dizzy like on petty blue's car.
Then I can route them better.

Hey pettyblue, what header are you running?, those baby's sure to come away from the heads and give you lotsa room.
Any fitment issues when installing?

Very nice spaz 8)8)you sure have things looking good, I need to get back on my system and do some sweetening up, just hotter then hell and not ready to bend over yet, But looking at everyone's system sure makes me want to find a shade tree and do some neater work, Thank you for sharing

I don't know memike, the last time I saw your motor pics it looked pretty darn sweet under that hood.
I know what you mean about that heat, it feels like you are wearing a plastic bag out in this stuff, then shower, go back out and get ruined all over again. ha, ha.

I know for sure I'm insulating that garage this fall and sheetrocking everything so I's can get me a big *** A/c unit for next summer.

Yeah I used washers for the spring attachment at carb. and have no binding. My headers are Hedman Husler fenderwells, thats why there,s so much room.Spaz, you can just buy seperate 90% plug ends,if you change your wires, you,ll need to change your cap also.I found out the hard$$way.(still have the spare new ones)which are useless to me.Gonna have to sell em.
