Hello........Mr. Newbie again, Sorry to bug but i have a question that i need answers for.I have my front end replaced and ready to go. So! Do i adjust my ride hieght with the lower control arms and tensioner ..then put in the torsion bars......or bars in then adjust?....Sorry if this sounds silly to some. I just dont know. Thanks......:homework:

The torsion bars have to be installed with the adjusters backed all the way off so that there is no tension on them. Once the weight of the vehicle is back on the wheels, you can tighten everything up, and then set your right height. Then, off to the alignment shop.

After driving "straight" for 1+ mile, pull over/stop. Put your fingers on front front tire tread, 3 places, side-side. What you can discover: hotter in middle(over inflated), cooler(opposite), hotter on outer edge(excess toe-in), hotter inside(opposite). If we're going to change our suspension design, for performance driving, a digital tire pyrometer is a valid tool. Also "tie raps", on the shock shafts, to monitor range of shock/suspension compression, during testing, is good.Cheers, ateam.:homework:

Bounce the front end up and down, or roll forward and back a car length. This allows the tires to roll out from under the weight of the front end. Each time, re-measure the ride height. Adjust accordingly.
Then, off to the alignment shop.

Ed as said back off the adjuster so its very loose, remove your upper bump stop pull down your lower arm as far as you can and install your bar do booth sides. When finished car on jack stands tighten that adjuster up some to set some ride height,When done let her down hopefully she is not riding on your bump stops,if so jack it up weight off and adjust more, dam just thought of something no engine her yet,you need engine in to get it right.
